The printed music of the Augsburg State and City Library (D-As) 1488-1630

The microfiche collection comprises 449 prints from the beginnings of book printing to the Thirty Years' War. Among them are theoretical writings, liturgical prints, collected prints of sacred and above all secular music as well as secular and sacred works in individual prints, mainly by Italian, German and Dutch composers. Around half of the collection, which contains some unique items, consists of music printed in Italy, including numerous volumes by the printer Gardano in Venice. The structure of the microfiche collection is based on Schletterer's catalogue.

The nine-part, thematically organised microfiche collection comprises works by numerous German, Italian, French, French and Dutch composers before 1820. Part IV is devoted to treatises. The holdings come from several Dutch and Belgian libraries and private collections.
In addition to individual and collected prints, some manuscripts are also represented.

Anthony van Hoboken's collection of first and early printed music, comprising some 8,000 volumes, is the largest private collection of its kind. It was incorporated into the music collection of the Austrian National Library (A-Wn) in 1974. The collection includes rare and valuable prints by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and numerous other composers. The works of Joseph Haydn form a focal point of the collection.
The film versions of the prints of Johann Sebastian Bach and his sons are available in the DMgA.

Opera Collection & Supplement, Kunstmuseum The Hague (NL-DHgm et al.)
The microfiche collection of the opera holdings of the Kunstmuseum (until 2019 Gemeentemuseum) The Hague comprises 323 individual prints and 8 printed collections from the late 17th to the early 19th century. The collection is supplemented by a supplement comprising 68 operas from the 17th and 18th centuries from several Dutch libraries.
The DMgA owns the individual prints by Jean Baptiste Lully and Pierre Rameau from the "Main Collection". The "Supplement" is available in its entirety in the archive.

Keyboard Music, Kunstmuseum The Hague (NL-DHgm et al.)
The microfiche collection comprises 1284 sources from the 17th and 18th centuries with music for keyboard instruments (harpsichord, piano, organ, but also harp). In addition to individual and collective prints, there are also some manuscripts. The sources come from the Kunstmuseum (until 2019 Gemeentemuseum) The Hague and eight other Dutch libraries.
