Workstations with microfilm/microfiche readers (incl. scanner or printer) and a research PC are available in the archive. WiFi is available in the reading room.

In addition to the online catalogue and the catalogues and directories listed on this website, other publications (including library catalogues, RISM and Census catalogues, catalogues raisonnés) and the index cards that have been created for each new film since 1954 serve as finding aids on site. You can also make use of an extensive reference library with books, periodicals and music.

A visit to Kassel is always worthwhile, and some searches in the wealth of material can lead to surprising results thanks to personalised advice.
